If you love golf we are located directly opposite the well-known Staining Lodge Golf Course. This 18-hole par 72 course is situated in 160 acres of picturesque Fylde countryside. With views stretching to the Pennines the course offers easy accessibility combined with the feeling of being totally in the countryside. Staining Lodge is a pay and play course that offers memberships and golf contracts whilst remaining accessible to all types of golfers from beginners and weekend golfers to regular players with handicaps and a competitive streak. The course has excellent drainage and rarely closes due to inclement weather, has generous fairways to aid the less advanced golfer and four par 5′s to test the more experienced golfer.

If you are a golfer this is the perfect location for you as we are within walking distance from the one hundred and sixty acres Staining Golf Course which also has a bar and restaurant with a breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menu. Local amenities include a small Co-op shop, The Plough Inn, which is a friendly local pub, and a Chinese take away – The Golden Dragon. There are plenty of great country pubs and restaurants around and about, near us. There is an abundance of leisure activities locally such as fishing, cycling and walking. Dover Caravan Park has disabled access and visitor parking, we have onsite Wi-Fi, water and drainage hook-ups and an LPG stockist on site, the park is pet-friendly.

Thornton Cleveleys is made up of two small towns. Cleveleys is a busy, traditional seaside town with a range of popular high street and independent shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy as well as perfect views of the sea and miles of golden sands and interesting walks along the award-winning promenade. Thornton is a pretty village with a range of shops, fine pubs and restaurants most have outdoor eating areas and even its own little theatre.

The historic market town of Poulton-le-Fylde is a shoppers paradise and is home to a range of high-quality independent shops and well-known stores. There is a busy café culture and fantastic nightlife with a range of restaurants, pubs and late-night bars. Monday is market day (not open Bank Holidays) and filled with stalls selling everything and anything.
